I would go with a 750W as a rock bottom minimum, a 850 would be better.

Figured so. It's kind of a fantasy.. but i get quite a bit of money as it's my 'big 18th' bday this year. So a nice GPU could be coming my way ready for Battlefield 3

Kman, just sell your PSU on some forums for like $50, your 470 for around the $200~220 mark or whatever comparible prices are for you silly crumpet munchers and then put that towards a new PSU and the gtx590.

Hah, lucky you All I got for my 18th was £50 ($80-ish). I mean, it's nice that they gave me something, and I know I shouldn't complain when there's people much worse off, but it was still pretty disappointing. Especially when my mum makes £43k ($70k).
