Is the Gtx 580 worth the jump in price versus the gtx 570?

It comes down to whether or not you think you need the extra performance. However, if you take the ratios of price to fps in almost any given title, the 570 is a better deal.

well you could always put two 570s together in sli. that would outrun the 580 by about a mile. but then the price would go above the 500 mark. its best to go with the 570.
