GTX 260 Core 216 vs. Hd 4870 1GB

i have a samsung 1920 x 1200 and i want good frame rates with it, that means 1gb at least right?

and at that resolution would 2 x 4870 1 gb be ok?

also my mother board came with a conector for 3 video cards but it has 2 connectors per card, and i see the ATI has 2 connecters per card it must be the crossfire one right?

i was working with fruity loops 8 xxl and it says when getting ready to encode a file to wav format that with max settings on it can slow as crap....i was like woa...so i clicked it anyway..

it finished in 15 seconds.....lol core i7 is just great huh lol
