Cool Graphics card upgrade

Trying to decide on a card here- am kind of set on ati as i am not a big nvidia fan- mabee a 7800

am interested in the x1800 and x1900

am upgrading as i made a dumb spur of the moment purchase on the x1600 *cry*

Prob you should wait for the newer Nvidia cards to come first in a few weeks, and then grab a 7800 GTX. That would be nice.

Wait till the 7900 comes out. If what we think is coming out in a couple of days, then buy the X1900XT as the price will probably drop because of the 7900's

i can get a x1900 xtx for $550 and a x1800xt for $300

What was wrong with the X1600? Was it pro or XT?

The X1900 series cards have 48 vertex engines vs the X1800 series 18. Huge performance jump, so stick with X1900. The X1900's will cost a bit more, but are worth it.
