Default Re: My $700 Gaming Rig- PLEASE check it out!!!

okay this is my new and improved build. THANK YOU gurusan for those excellent suggestions(especially that HD that you suggested, what a deal).

Newegg.com - Antec Three Hundred Black ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Computer Cases

Newegg.com - SAMSUNG HD642JJ 640GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive (Bare Drive) - Internal Hard Drives

Newegg.com - OCZ StealthXStream OCZ500SXS 500W ATX12V / EPS12V Active PFC Power Supply - Power Supplies

Newegg.com - OCZ Platinum Edition 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1000 (PC2 8000) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Desktop Memory

Newegg.com - ASUS P5Q Pro LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard - Intel Motherboards

Newegg.com - Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Wolfdale 3.0GHz 6MB L2 Cache LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor - Processors - Desktops

Newegg.com - ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro 92mm CPU Cooler - CPU Fans & Heatsinks

Newegg.com - MSI R4850-512M Radeon HD 4850 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards

Newegg.com - ASUS Black 18X DVD-ROM 48X CD-ROM SATA DVD-ROM Drive Model DVD-E818A3T - CD / DVD Drives

BUT i was unable to fit in the Power supply and the cooler in my budget. Do you think i will be fine with the once listed above instead of gurusan's suggestions?

yes, but i personally would look for one with a single 12V rail, since the wattage is on the low side. it should give you more stable and reliable power.

Or get that Antec Three Hundred combo with the 650WA Trio. It's the same price as that PSU until the 30th and a much better quality. (Trio all da way ftw).

everything looks great....but I would not get the AF7 Pro. It used to be a great cooler for the money a long time ago but there are better things now.

I would go with either this one:

Newegg.com - XIGMATEK HDT-D1264 120mm Rifle CPU Cooler - CPU Fans & Heatsinks

or this one
Newegg.com - XIGMATEK HDT-SD964 92mm Rifle CPU Cooler - CPU Fans & Heatsinks

pretty sure that's all you need as long as you already have a keyboard/mouse/monitor/speakers or headphones

Nagasama made a mistake, he actually meant to link this card instead.
