I've got Diamond's XOC BIOS here:

you can flash any reference 4870 with it. Stock clock speed is 800MHZ though, so you need to make sure your card can handle it (though most should).
Or you could use the Radeon BIOS editor and put the core speed to 750MHZ (standard 4870)

in CCC, the upper clock limit is 990MHZ with this BIOS

there's also this bios, the Asus TOP 4870. I've heard the fan profiles are very good so it's worth a try

You can break 20k in 3dmark06 with a 4ghz quad and a highly overclocked gtx260..... I'm quite impressed with that card, I hope the die shrink is even better.

What ever happened to 32k? Wasn't that achieved with two 3870x2s? Shouldn't the 4870 and gtx 280 cards do even better?

from what i am hearing 3dmark06 is more CPU dependant

I thought the HD 4870's scored around the same... because they focused more on gaming performance and now it craps on synthetics

didnt see the 9800gt on there yet
