Default Re: Graphics card Rankings

In general the 6800GT outperforms the 6800GS....XFX made a XXX edition 6800GS that I used to have, and it performed close to the 6800 Ultra when overclocked and better than the 6800GT @ stock.

So I still think the 6800GS should go below the 6800GT since it's only 1 card that is good.

3850 512MB is only a small gap behind 3870
I think the gap between 256MB and 512MB 8800 GT can be somewhat large, depending on the game. Especially on games like Crysis.

According to Anandtech, 8800GT 256MB performs much better than HD3850 256MB and very close to HD3870

I'm not sure how it performs against HD3850 512MB, but I think stock vs stock 8800GT would be better

Yeah so im thinking it beats the 3850 512mb, unless loads of aa/af and high res are added. But in general i think it beats it.

Apokalipse,

The old benchmark that you posted in other thread was comparing an overclocked HD3850 512MB to a stock HD3870

I like to see a stock vs stock benchmark that proves what you say
