Not all 1gb cards have slower clocks, and the 1GB will outperform the 512 when your running at higher than 1680x1050 res.

I figured as much, if it actually competed with it I would be very impressed.

Can some of the lower end Ati 4000 series be added to the list?

If AMD succeeds with "Fusion" then this thread will become pointless.

You should try out the AMD Fusion for Gaming utility. That thing helps so much for me in GTA4. I get like a 5-10 fps boost from it.

Fusion is where AMD combines CPU and GPU.

One of the Bulldozer chips should have a GPU core on it as well.

Does this mean there will be no more CPU/GPU bottleneck?

That doesn't sound all that thrilling to me though. CPUs and GPUs get hot enough on their own, I don't want to see what would happened if you put the two of them together.

Not to mention that kinda ruins your choices for you...besides the bottleneck loss, what's the real benefit?

And if I'm just not getting something, sorry I sound stupid. :[
