Nah a 9800GT wont slaughter it. 10-15% better, as Vern said - its about comparable to an 8800GTS 320.

A 4850 (or 9800GTX+) should see you a fairly nice increase, say 30-40%. A HD4870 or GTX260 even more.

grab either a 9800GTX+ (Newegg.com - EVGA 512-P3-N879-AR GeForce 9800 GTX+ 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards) or a Core 216 (Newegg.com - EVGA 896-P3-1265-AR GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 896MB 448-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards), because i'm assuming you want an nv card so you can go for SLI again in the future... but in terms of strictly value, the Sapphire 4850 is the hands down champion (Newegg.com - Open Box: SAPPHIRE 100242L Radeon HD 4850 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card)
