GPU UPgrade

So In Late october im going to upgrade my Video Card from the GTX 460 SE, I need a nice upgrade that will go Nice with my Athlon x4, I'm also not staying with the Athlon forever

GTX 770 or R9 280x (which is a 7970).

Give or take, but that's comparing a 7970 to a 770. Nothing real solid has been said about the 280x so there is no real way of knowing how much boost they are going to give it to edge the 770. Gotta wait for benchmarks when they raise NDA which should be on the 3rd or 4th.
