Default GPU upgrade

hey peoples

been doing a bit of overtime the last week or 2 to get a few in for a new graphics card, i know what your thinking a 4850 is good but there is better and i want one of them

money is no problem as i've got 150 sat in my bank and another 300 - 400 to come my way

now i've decided on one of these 2

XFX GeForce GTX 295 1792MB PCI-E 2.0 - Aria Technology

Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2 2GB PCI-E2.0 - Aria Technology

now i'm a bit of a ati fanboi (only had ati cards and havent had a problem with them) so i'm kind of leaning towards them

but i guess i could always try a nVidia card

My new pc spec's ~

Case ~ nexus caterpilla
Mobo ~ Gigabyte GA~P35~DS3R Rev 2.0
CPU ~ Intel Q6600
HDD ~ 2 x 500gb western digital drives
Ram ~ 4GB worth (4 strips) of OCZ 2GB PC2-6400 Platinum Rev 2.0
PSU ~ Corsair 750TX
GPU ~ GTX 295

OS - Windows 7 Home 64-bit

Graphics card Rankings

Gtx 295 tops the list but you would be happy with either card. If you love ATI then go for it.

ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 :: INTEL i7 920 @3.4 :: XFX GTX260 :: 6gb Corsair 1600 :: Corsair 750TX :: TRUE 120 :: Samsung T240 24" :: Windows 7 X64

if you can find the GTX 295 for a good price it'd be a good deal but with the 4870x2 only at a sub $400 tag (don't quite know what that converts to) it's the better vlaue IMO
