GPU upgrade

hey peoples

been doing a bit of overtime the last week or 2 to get a few £ in for a new graphics card, i know what your thinking a 4850 is good but there is better and i want one of them

money is no problem as i've got £150 sat in my bank and another £300 - £400 to come my way

now i've decided on one of these 2

XFX GeForce GTX 295 1792MB PCI-E 2.0 - Aria Technology

Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2 2GB PCI-E2.0 - Aria Technology

now i'm a bit of a ati fanboi (only had ati cards and havent had a problem with them) so i'm kind of leaning towards them

but i guess i could always try a nVidia card

Gtx 295 tops the list but you would be happy with either card. If you love ATI then go for it.

if you can find the GTX 295 for a good price it'd be a good deal but with the 4870x2 only at a sub $400 tag (don't quite know what that converts to) it's the better vlaue IMO
