I'm a Gainward fan. They always put in effort to make their cards just a little more appealing than other brands.

Big popular names have been mentioned, EVGA, XFX, GAINWARD, BFG although my 7950GT is none of the above, its a Leadtek one, which ive had no problems with in the 3months ive had it, doesnt run too hot and its silent, i can never hear it.

evga offers a step up program and are a good make. If you are thinking about upgrading to dx10 later and your just using this card as a stop gap card, then go with evga so all you need to pay is the difference after subtracting the price you pay for the 7900gs.

If not then:
asus (they seem to make good cards but ive never owned one of their gpu's, just heard good things about their gpu's)
