Most drives are pretty similar though, and cheap too. If you have an extra 300 bucks left over, there's a good drive kickin' around some places that play blu-ray and HD-dvd (no burning though), just in case you were interested, can't remember the brand.

Also, when you say "explanations", does that mean if I say q6600, you don't know what I'm talking about (for example), because if you aren't sure about what all these parts are, I can give you a quick run down (or someone else). I have found this forum to be very helpful.

yea they have the same amperage on the 12V, 54 i believe it is, and the 520hx is quieter
