Default Is this a good rig?

Just finished compiling my build. Haven't bought anything but the ram yet so any suggestions or comments would be nice.

CD: LG 22X DVD±R/±RW + CD-R/RW Dual Layer Drive (BLACK COLOR)
CASE: Raidmax Skyline Mid-Tower Gaming Case w/ Side-Panel Window
CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-920 2.66 GHz 8M L3 Cache LGA1366
COOL: Asetek Liquid CPU Cooling System
GEAR1: Razer Destructor™ Precision Gaming Surface Mouse Pad [+36]
HDD: Single Hard Drive (1TB SATA-II 3.0Gb/s 16MB Cache 7200RPM HDD)
MOTHERBOARD: (3-Way SLI Support) Asus P6T Intel X58 Chipset SLI/CrossFireX Mainboard Triple-Channel DDR3/1600 SATA RAID w/ eSATA [+55]
MEMORY: 6GB (2GBx3) DDR3/1800MHz Triple Channel Memory Module (Kingston HyperX)
OS: Microsoft® Windows® 7 Home Premium (64-bit Edition)
POWERSUPPLY: 1000 Watts (Thermaltake W0132RU ToughPower 1,000 Watts Power Supply - Quad SLI Ready )
VIDEO: ATI Radeon HD 5870 PCI-E 16X 1GB DDR5 Video Card [DirectX 11 Support]

All I am really planning on doing with this rig is playing games [Fallout 3, Crysis, GTA4, ect.] and doing homework [MS word, MS excel, etc.]. I don't expect for everything to run on ultra high, and don't really think I want to shell out 400 more bucks for the 5970. Thanks for your opinions in advance, and if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.

Its fine, but it would be better if you built it yourself.

Well, you don't need a website to compile a list, your best bet is to browse newegg and find parts for yourself.

Much more rewarding, anyway. :P

And according to this "website" what is the total cost?

Because a 5970 is only about 200 more than a 5870, not 400 more..

Around 1500
But I don't really think I need to shell an extra 200 even. I know its the "best" there is, I am just fine with what I have

Also huge overkill on the psu, a decent 550ish would power that no problems.

Thanks for the help, with that PSU downgrade I might be able to afford the 5970

The Asetek CPU Cooling System is a joke. A good air cooling setup will outperform it for less money

Don't bother getting DDR3 1800MHz memory. Look at the OCZ Gold or Platinum DDR3 1600MHz memory with faster timings and the cheaper pricetag.

If you want a Good Power Supply with plenty of extra power for future upgrades then look at the Corsair 850 watt unit.
