Default Good Power Supply?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817341002

To me, this seems like a very good power supply that will last a very decent amount of time. I've also heard good things about OCZ.

I'm asking just in case, is this a good power supply to handle the a fully decked out PC and possibly even an nVidia G80?

Holy [snipped]! Quad +12v rails totalling 72 amps!!!! What the [snipped]?? Either newegg has made a typo in the price or there is a big catch to that power supply. I am guessing the latter.

For an average price of $160.00, GameXStream 700W is still on the steep side, and thus we recommend you wait for the price to dip for a while before opting for this high-wattage power supply if you are not satisfied with the price now. Another question you may want to ask yourself is: Do I really need a 700W power supply?

Nah...

The steep side?? WTF?? Thats dirt cheap!! Look at the specs! My PSU was over $200 and it has only dual +12v rails, and a max output of 650w. There has got to be some kind of catch to this PSU, like it's rated for that output at 20 degrees celcius or something.

yeah, that seems like a great value for 160, I payed 470'ish for my PCP&C 1Kw, and it didn't have four 12V rails, though there is a 1Kw version out now with four, but realistically and financially, 700W would be enough for any PC user, even me, I just wanted the PCP&C for their reputation and reliability, which OCZ seems to have a fair amount of as well.

aaronkupen, I'd suggest getting that power supply if you're in the market for a new one, it seems like a steal.

The PCP&C 1kw is extremely efficient, and uses less power than a no-name 300w power supply when idle. I would ask around about that OCZ power supply, it seems to good to be true. Ask here:

EDIT:
And look at this:

It does look nice, but I still wouldn't want to foot the power bill since I run mine 24/7....
