Im basically looking at two motherboards right now

also u should get a nv board unless ur gonna sli, intel chipsets are far better.

Intel chipsets are indeed better, and this board is a great choice if you take that into consideration. It supports Crossfire, not Sli, which maybe beneficial to you or it may not.

true the p5q and the I45 are the 2 best P45 chipset motherboards atm. both are highly rec. but incase you are insistent on sli then a 750i ftw is a great board or even 780/790i ftw editions but they will cost you.... and always have very bad vdroop.

Yeah this is the videocard i plan on using with the motherboard. I dont plan on Crossfire or SLI though

I recommend getting a HD 4870 which is faster than a gtx 260.

not sure about the new 260 thats commin out thought pretty soon

the new core 216 is about as good as a 4870, so you can swing for wateva is cheaper. a 4870 is about $30 cheaper, and the 4870 will do much better in games with AA cranked up.
