Good Idea or Bad?

Well, My family is having money issues at the moment but I was promised a new computer and of course they will stick with it.
In a few years I will shell out to upgrade further.
Will this last me a couple years?
I mean atleast play games later on atleast on Med-High?
Ill be overclocking the 3000+ and the 6600GT.
Then later on Ill probably buy a 7800GT when the price falls alot.
I dont think Ill need a new processor as long as I overclock.
I think I can get it up to 3500+ speeds which is 2.2 I believe?

Well Im going to overclock which is why I got the DFI board.


I wont have anymore money for awhile.
Right now I have about 650.
My system only plays at 800 x 600 on medium.

GF2 MX 400... really blows.

The comp looks good, but as pzerofgh said, wait to get a little more cash to get some gaming stuff. Value ram is not gonna cut it, so i suggest save up a bit more.

That processor will go to 2.5-2.6 and i have seen people run it at 2.8 with aftermarket cooling.

Instead of GEIL Value you should just upgrade to Crucial. It runs cooler (a plus for overclocking) and won't be too much more expensive. It's also more dependable.

Dont go the cheap way when buying RAM. Kinda like psu's, the brand and makes all the difference..

that DFI board is not a lanparty series so you arent going to OC as far as you see the WR at like 3.8 or whatnot. the MSI is farily good. i got one and i love it. 2.6 , but mobo isnt everything its mostly the cpu and the week when its made and all t hat junk

valueram is good, run memory divders, just look at flanker and flanker2 lol
