get 2 of these for ram. would be a beast of a performer.

Newegg.com - OCZ Reaper HPC 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1800 (PC3 14400) Desktop Memory - Desktop Memory

this PSU would be better,

Newegg.com - CORSAIR CMPSU-850TX 850W ATX12V 2.2 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Active PFC Power Supply - Power Supplies

and go with one of these or 2 if you have the cash to spend and want some extreme gaming.

Newegg.com - BFG Tech BFGEGTX2851024OCPE GeForce GTX 285 1GB 512-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards

well the thing with i7 is that you really want the ram to be running in tri channel.

Newegg.com - Intel Core i7 920 Nehalem 2.66GHz 4 x 256KB L2 Cache 8MB L3 Cache LGA 1366 130W Quad-Core Processor - Processors - Desktops

Newegg.com - GIGABYTE GA-EX58-UD5 LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard - Intel Motherboards

Newegg.com - OCZ Reaper HPC 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1800 (PC3 14400) Desktop Memory - Desktop Memory X2

that's what you should be going for, but the best would to go for the 4870x2 and the 12bg of ram if you have the cash.

yes, you want to have the ram, it being triple chanel, and in paris of 3. each stick being 2GB a piece for 12GB in tri channel. meaning 6 sticks of 2gb total.

Philbar why are you suggesting top of the line graphics cards when he said he barely games??

I would just build it yourself. That PSU seems kinda sketchy, and you're limited to exactly that stuff. Most of it is pretty good stuff, but if he knew what he was doing, he wouldn't be offering dual channel ram with an i7.
