Default Good deal?

Newegg.com - OCZ ModXStream Pro 700W Modular High Performance Power Supply compatible with Intel Sandybridge Core i3 i5 i7 and AMD Phenom

Many reviews on newegg said this unit died after 18 months (however, they did RMA with no hassle). All other places I've read have said the OCZ ModXStream Pro series are great. Being that this is only $50 after mail-in rebate (ends on 5/31), should I go for it?

How can that PSU be SLi/Xfire certified/ready when there are only 2x PCI-E connectors?

It's still a decent deal, but it's not as good as my 1st glance suggested.

Well, I do not plan on using more than one card, so this is fine for me. Ordering now.
