Good Combo?

Hi there... Can anyone tell me if this is a good combo?

ASUS CROSSHAIR nF590 Socket AM2 PCI-E SLi / SATA(II) RAID / DUAL CH DDR2 / DUAL Gb LAN / 8CH HD AUDIO / ARRAY MIC / ATX MOTHERBOARD

with

AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200 Retail AM2 2.20GHz, 1000MHz FSB, 1MB, 64 Bit Socket AM2

P.S Im fairly new to pc's im a mac user... Lol... i thought the above was fairly good, but what do you think? Should i change it?

About £300 all together... Is that not a good combo then?

That's a decent combo... but you might be able to spend a few more and get a 4400 and get the higher L2 cache, OR save a few and get the 3800... but still it's a good combo...
