Can I get the parts for that core 2 duo? make sure its good stuff, and remember my budget is $500.00.

I am not going to get the stuff yet, until my computer I have right now sells.

The specs will be in my sig when I update.


Also is the Q6600 faster? I will be mostly gaming.

yes......

q6600 owns most AMD's out right now, just get the e8400 and overclock it to like 4.5ghz ( I'm pretty sure you don't know how, but I can help you out)

its actually not, but the e8400 is a godly overclocker, it goes to 4.0ghz+ on aircooling, which would still beat a q6600 at 3.5ghz

not sure what motherboard to go with for overclocking reasons, I want to use either MSI or ASUS brands though. If they aren't as good for overclocking then I can go with another brand.

Tell me what ram, and I should be set then.

I have the hard drive, and graphics card. I know what dvd+R/CD+R combo drive I want. I already picked out a computer case.

get Transcend aXeRAM (its really good DDR2 800 d9 micron RAM) with Abit IP35-E (really great board, p35 Chipset also great overclocker, but theres no RAID Function and only 3 SATA Ports )
