speaking of this, does anyone use those wrist strap things?

what are the real chances of having some type of static damage? what steps do you take to prevent this?

I've never once used one. Just make sure you touch something metal before touching anything inside your case.

the xigmatek coolers are better than the core contact in terms of build quality, ease of use and mounting system.
