Put a grain of rice in the middle and just let the heatsink spread it.

If you let the heatsink do it you know that there is no thin spots or pocket of air, and that the heatsink has good contact. Well that's how i do it anyway.

Re-applied the paste using the AS5 method. Same Idle temps 43-44 C maybe I gotta wait for it to break in?

Yeah it will take about 3 days to cook and get good temps. Thermalright 120 extreme with a decent fan if you want the best air performance.

90*C is not high for the intel burn test. its normal. scary, but normal. your chip should throttle back around there anyways.

Should I get the Sunbeam Core Contact Freezer?
Will I see significant temp drops from the ACF7?
If I do get it should I use the TX-2 or buy MX-2?

Reason for wanting to get: Easy to mount and I dont have to remove my mobo.

IT is a pain in the butt to mount a heatsink with the mobo in the case. You will probably want to take it out anyway. And yeah, get the tx-2 thermal paste.

just grab a Core Contact Freezer and use the TX-2 that comes with it
