Default Gigabyte 3D Galaxy II

how good is this thing, will it cool an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.66, overclocked to 3.5 on a maximus formula motherboard?

(also has anyone else heard about Raptor? or something video cards to come out in august, 150x faster than todays cards. Or am i just on drugs?)

I was reading up on that cooling, its meant to be pretty bad. Air cooling will out perform it, and some people said the pumps failed after a month or two.
