but i got the 8800GTS for about $200.

plus in my opinion the 9 series were build quite poorly.

the 9 series werent any major advancements since they didint need to do so. Actually the 9 series are good cards, just great cards for the money.

Once again though she is already on the end of the budget...plus for 200 bucks the HD4850 is the best choice. Less power and heat than a 9800GTX and performs on average better

She ended up getting the 4850. This is the build that she will probably end up with. I paid for it with my money and she just gave me what she had.

that psu isn't very good for the money, you could have gotten one of around the same quality but for less. also that board, unnecessary, you could have gone with a ep45-ds3l for around 100 bucks and it will be about the same. also 4gb of memory? thats overkill for what she's gonna be doing. 2gb would have been fine, and if she needed more for cs3 then buy a 1gb stick and that will still be a lot cheaper then the 4gb kit.
