getting an error cause I unhooked fan

Every time I turn on my PC I get an error saying I have no fan hooked up and I should service PC, and I have to hit F2 to continue. I know I don't have a fan connected, because I don't want to use that fan anymore.
Any way to prevent the error message?

is there a way to go into the bios or setup menu of the computer and look at any settings that would change this?

You could cut the connector off the fan u dont want to use anymore and plug it back on the board and see if u stop getting the error message. lol

What fan did you pull out and what mobo do you have?

I have an HP pavilion. so I doubt you ever heard of the MB. The fan was an 80mm that was connected to the beck of the case.
