so with this coming on in a few days... we are looking at a price dropp on cards? correct? and do you think agp cards will go down any?

No, companies wont suddenly think "The 8800 is here! Must drop prices in all other cards! They are not worthy!"

It just doesnt work like that. Rather as time goes on, technology advances allowing us to make great new cards such as the 8800 but also it allows us to make older technology in cheaper ways and when the older cards are bought for less money, they will be sold for less money.

what do u have ur 6600 OC'd to? according to the guys who got their hands on it, it takes a massive amount of processing power to run it. they said the non-OC'd version of the QC6700 was even having a little trouble at times running the crysis demo. but they said as long as a core 2 cpu is clocked around 3.0GHz or higher it should be fine.
