Gamming rig build

Hi guys, first post on forum but have been reading most posts for long while. Am looking at building a gamming only rig for overclocking. Was looking at the intel/nvidia route but after much discussion with my friends and their experiences with these they suggested an AMD build, this is what im looking at but any opinions on what could be changed including going for a duo core would be much appreciated. IMO I would go with C2D, but if you're going AMD can I suggest going with AM2 socket?

fpr the money youre spending you definatly should go core 2.

not to say that isnt a bad *** system

Go for the core 2 duo, and get a more conservative card, I know we say it alot but it really doesn't make sense to spend so much money on a DX9 graphics card with the DX10 cards so close to release.

Go C2D. Even a E6300 would destroy that CPU with a minor OC.

Yeah the dx10 thing has really been in the back of my mind, think ill tone down the card and go with C2D and upgrade video card at a later date when dx10 in full swing. Thanks for help guys ill pop my intel build up soon.
