I think I have my final build down which I will purchase on May 25th (pay day). The only thing I'm missing from this list is as5 and replacement fans(2x 80mm 1x 120mm). I will run SLI and have my Hd's in a Raid 0 config. Hopefully I can OC stable around 2.6 ghz and have the ram running at 280mhz.

Tell me what you think!

Thanks,
Mike

I would just get one x1900xt Instead of the 2 7900 GTX's.

First of all harry is right, second who the **** needs 2 7900 GTX's...

My 7900 GT Plays evreything nicely...max max max...

plus we all know the x1900xt can do somthing the 7900 GTx's cant:)

Thats what i'm getting

why dont you hold off a few months, thats a lot of money to spend on a system that will be outdated soon, i mean, wait fr the conroe and g80, even if you go for the same stuff, the prices probably will have fallen on the 79oo and the 165?

Well I was thinking about purchasing the case/psu optical drives and fans and holding off a month

G80 is worth it....just buy a cheaper card and then buy the G80 when it comes out

u need direct X 10 to experience the "new gen" gaming

What would make sense to me is by a top grade last gen card after the release of the g80 which will cause price drops and wait until christmas for a g80 card when prices are resonable. Vista won't be until after christmas and games that will actually utilitize dirext x 10.

Just wait a bit longer I agree if you can afford the new stuff that comes out
