I have about 1500 to 2000 to spend on a new rig, I dont need a monitor or keyboard or any of that stuff, just the basics machine wise. I play wow religiously and must have everything at its highest settings and run the game at 1900x1200 widescreen mode. I have a gaming rig right now but it just doesnt seem to do what I want it to do. I cant run multiple things while playing so I want to convert it to a spare machine and have one dedicated just to gaming. It has been a while since I have done reserch on the new hardware but I keep hearing good things about the intel duel core. Any suggestions?

I would go with two 7900gto's 250 each.. they are basically 7900gtx's for cheap.

how about eVGA 512-P2-N635-AR Geforce 7950GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card x2

Go with this build:

CPU- Intel Core Duo 2 E6600- $320
Motherboard- ASUS P5B-E- $150
RAM- same as above
Hard Drive for OS and Games- WD Raptor X 150GB- $200
Hard Drive for Storage- Seagate 320GB 16MB SATA300- $95
Sound Card- same as above
Video Card- eVGA 7900 GTO- $250
Power Supply- FSP Group FX600-GLN- $140
Case- your choice

Total- $1575 (wait until DX10 before you go all out for a video card. The 7900 GTO will last you plenty well till then.)
