I won't be doing that much traveling I'm just thinking about me going away every summer and I won't be able to play on my computer . Also, I visit my grandparents quite often and I can just bring my laptop there. On the other hand, I would love playing F.E.A.R on a 22" Widescreen LCD Monitor .

Tough Desicion.

I would go for the desktop, if you are going to be spending time away from home A LOT then the laptop. You will be able to play games just fine on both machines but the desktop is easier to upgrade and a better investment.

haha, well thats ok.. you can look that all up on the internet, and some things that people think are important really arent. Just make sure you have a motherboard, CPU, RAM, video card, PSU, Case, and DVD RW

Hey what advice would you guys have for me a dude, who lives in a strict home. Here is the deal I am planning to buy a gaming laptop next summer in account of I can't put a desktop in my room due to lack of space it would have to be placed in our library. And I can't game there and about a year or two I would buy a gaming desktop when I finally move out of my peeps house dude or when they finally loosen up. So what do you guys think and are their any recommendation or suggestions you guys could make cause I am desperate to know. Please and thanks in advance.

desktops are always the better choice for power:money ratio. more powerful parts for desktop are cheaper.

murdax, if u cant put the desktop in ur room then get a laptop but imo they just arent the same as a desktop. i have both and easily use my desktop over my laptop anytime
