so this is my first computer build ever, this is mostly going to be used for gaming. since my x box 360 broke. i am looking for some input on my bulid. can anyone tell me if its a good starter gaming PC, and if the parts i have picked out for this set up will work well together.

-evga 750i ftw motherboard
-e8400 or q8400 cpu (need some input on picking one)
-4 gigs of ram ( don't know whats a good brand to get)
-evga GTX 260 Core 216 Superclocked Edition ( will get a 2nd one later on)
-750 watts corsair power supply
-corsair H50 cpu cooler

i have the case which is a cooler master HAF 922 and i have a 22" monitor too. am trying to keep it under $1000, any input will help. i plan on ordering parts soon.

What's your budget?
I don't recommend investing on 775 socket since is being replaced by socket 1156 and 1366.

ok so how's this motherboard and cpu set up

-MSI P55-GD65 LGA 1156 Intel P55 ATX Intel Motherboard

-Intel Core i5-750 Lynnfield 2.66GHz 8MB L3 Cache LGA 1156 95W Quad-Core Processor

is there any 4gig's ram that you recommend for this combo
