Personally I use the Saitek Cyborg. 3200 DPI, three scroll wheel settings, a thumb button, two buttons on the side for various things (can be mapped) and three sensitivity settings on the top for all your gaming needs :D

Plus I love the shape of it and it can be increased in size up to an extra 15mm for people with large hands.

Gaming mice make a huge difference in any game, especially FPS. Ever since I got rid of my M$ wireless optical mouse, and got a MX518, I actually noticed I could do better in games lol. However the keyboard is something that has to be decided by the gamer if its worth the money. The only reason I have one was because of the price. I got my Razer Tarantula for 20 bucks at CC brand new, when they had to price match BB. Overall, I like it better than my old one, but not worth 100 dollars retail
