Gaming Motherboard

I'm trying to build a gaming computer that can play all of the latest games. I don't want to worry if I can play a game I just want to play what-ever I buy, As soon as I buy it. I have two questions to ask...

1. Would a AMD Athlon 64 X2 work with a gaming Puter?

2. I need a Motherboard.

3. Just thought of, What would a good Video Card be.

The AMD Athlon 64 X2s are great processors, but if you really want the best performance, wait until August 7th for Intel's new processors to come out. They're much better performers than the X2s and at a lower price.

What's your budget? Then we can recommend a videocard to you.

i would wait until august to get a conroe, but if your getting amd athlon go dual core and get a 3800+ IMO best bang for your buck.

get the athlon x2 when the price drops. good video card. get a 7600gt, i think its a decent card.
