Default Gaming Computer Upgrade

Hi!

I figured out that i need to upgrade my 1,5 year old computer I need some tips to what i need to upgrade, and what i should keep. My budget is about 600$.

Here's my specs:

Corsair Powersupply 750W
Asus P6T Deluxe V2, X58, Socket-1366 DDR3, ATX, SLI&CrossFireX, Firewire, 2xG
Corsair XMS3 DDR3 1600MHz 6GB CL9 Kit w/3x 2GB XMS3 modules, CL9-9-9-24
Intel Core# i7 Quad Processor i7-9204, 8GT/sec, 8MB
XFX GeForce GTS 250 512MB PhysX CUDA PCI-Express 2.0, 2xDVI, Graphics Plus.

Everything sitting in a Antec Nine Hundred Two Miditower

I'd be very happy for any tips and guidelines, since i'm not a very experienced computer builder. (This is my first one).

The only thing I would upgrade is the GPU. I would wait for the AMD 69xx to come out.

I was thinking about getting XFX Radeon HD 5770 1GB GDDR5, do you recommend that? Or should i wait for the AMD 69xx? I was thinking about getting myself a new keyboard, new mouse, and a new monitor (since this one is just 19") So i'm pretty limited for the mid'range GPU's.

You said you had $600 for the GPU that's why I asked you to wait.
What's your budget for the GPU?

I would save $10 and get this one Newegg.com - XFX HD-687A-ZNFC Radeon HD 6870 1GB 256-bit DDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card with Eyefinity

The 5770's had a problem when you mixed match them with different manufacturers. But XFX on a whole are an amazing manufacturer, one of the best IMO.

I Have a XFX 5770 and I love it But I'd get a 6870/6850 If I were you. or a GTX 460.

I found a HD 6870 for 350 $ if i wait two weeks, i will have 100$ more. So i will have a budget about 300$-350$. So you would get that card? How about a HD 5870? They sell for about 400$ (I'm in Norway BTW)
