Gaming Computer under $1000

My R.A. wants to build a gaming rig for under $1000 and it has been a while since I've recommended a list of parts so I was wondering if you could help me out. He'd like the parts to be of decent quality, but nothing that goes over $1000.

A seagate HDD will be cheaper than a WD HDD in most cases, and I'd go with a lower CPU but a better GPU. A GTX 650 Ti won't be that good in 1080p. IF it's not very necessary to go modular, a Corsair TX650 will be sufficient : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139020
