You can only buy what's available at the stores you shop at. I was going to make that recommendation myself but the 920 was not listed. The 930 will still run at 4 GHz with a decent cooler if he's even intersted in overclocking. And if overclocking is a minor or non-issue then the 930 will actully be better.

2 last things 
1st, what are the safe settings for overclocking the 930 with stock cooler and stock voltage? And 2nd is there any good overclocking software that monitors temperatures and where you can change the bios settings/overclocking?

This is driving me crazy... What is the difference between Corsair XMS3 DDR3 PC12800/1600MHz CL9 3x2GB and Corsair XMS3 Twin3X DDR3 PC12800/1600MHz CL9 3x2GB ?? Same speccs, same name... What does that darn Twin3X stand for? Did they share crafting robot or wut?

the twin3x sticks have a bit better heatsinks on them than the xms3, i don't know anything more specific about em than that.
