thanx but when i look the GTX260 has much worse specs (on paper) and the GTX460 is out of my price range (around £90 cause i'm on a tight budget)

i looked up a few more links. found some pointing to tomshardware. it seems ppl are favoring the 5770. winning factors are dx11, better in crossfire, and nearly 1/2 the power consumption. However, just about everyone agrees that the 260 is a faster card. They also say the 5770 can be easily overclocked and the GTX is a older card. prolly good to stay with the 5770

Perhaps the 5830 would be a consideration, it is a tad faster than a 5770 and a 260.

Unless there is some reason that you prefer to order from novatech, I would make a few changes to the build.

Chances are, you don't need 8GB of RAM. Also, the RAM I listed is faster than the RAM you listed. Also, the Novatech RAM consumes a lot of voltage, 1.8-1.9v is pretty high for DDR3 RAM.

Corsair Memory XMS3 4GB DDR3 1600 MHz CAS 9 XMP Dual Channel Desktop =£68
(£32.06 cheaper)
Scan.co.uk: Corsair Memory XMS3 4GB DDR3 1600 MHz CAS 9 XMP Dual Channel Desktop - CMX4GX3M2A1600C9

Same processor you listed, only this one is cheaper.

PROCESSOR
AMD Quad Core Phenom II X4 3.5GHz Socket AM3=£133.16 (£2.84 cheaper)
Scan.co.uk: AMD Phenom II X4 970 Quad Core Processor - HDZ970FBGMBOX

Same hard drive you listed, only this one is cheaper.

HDD
Samsung 1Tb Spinpoint F3 Hard Drive - HDD =£39.41 (£1.59 cheaper)
Scan.co.uk: Samsung 1Tb Spinpoint F3 Hard Drive - HDD - HD103SJ

Video card is cheaper and a bit more powerful.

GRAPHICS
XFX HD 5830 Graphics Card =£83.50 (£6.5 cheaper)
Scan.co.uk: XFX HD 5830 Graphics Card - HD-583X-ZADA

Same motherboard, lower price.

MOTHERBOARD
Asus M4A79XTD EVO AMD 790X AM3 Motherboard=£76.55 (£13.45 cheaper)
Scan.co.uk: Asus M4A79XTD EVO AMD 790X AM3 Motherboard

More powerful, higher quality, and more reliable power supply. You don't want to cheap out on a power supply, expecially if you have a video card that requires power connectors.

POWER
Corsair Enthusiast TX V2 CMPSU-650TXV2UK 650W Power Supply (PSU)=£68.78
(£25.8 more)
Scan.co.uk: Corsair Enthusiast TX V2 CMPSU-650TXV2UK 650W Power Supply (PSU)

Same DVD drive, only cheaper.

DVD
Samsung DVD Writer, SH-S222A/BEBE, IDE (PATA), Black, OEM =£15.01 (£ 1 cheaper)

make sure that the case you chose has room for an 11inch to 11 and a half inch video card.

CASE (from xcase.co.uk)
X-Case Venus Midi Tower Case=£36
