I meant the gaming portion of their sales. It's the same as Intel, I doubt AMD will ever catch up with Intel but in the gaming part of the Industry AMD and nVidia has made a lot of sales. It's good to have competition so that the consumers isn't raped on price tags.

The last thing I would want is for someone to form a monopoly in the gaming/computer industry and then everybody gets screwed, like with oil.

True, and AMD has a higher share price then Intel. AMD is again like 40 something and Intel was like 20 something.

Meh, have their drivers gotten any better?

I have a little secondary PC with an X1300Pro (got it for $79 shipped), and using the catalyst 6.2 I have not had any problems with them.
