I want to buy this mouse and was looking at a few on ebay. I noticed that there were a few different color schemes and was wondering if there were differences between the different colors as far as performance (newer versions etc). Thanks for the help. Also, what the heck is up with every place in the world being out of the hd 5870???? Also noticed the price of that keeps going up. Supply and demand at its finest.....

As far as I know, there are two versions of the G5 (in terms of technical differences)
One has one thumb button, and one has two.
Anyway, the 5870's are very new, and very popular.
And Nvidia don't have their G300 cards out yet, so 5870's are the only option for high-end DirectX 11 cards for now.
I also heard that Dell grabbed about 90% of the 5800 series cards, which is part of the reason they're hard to find.
