G.a.m.i.n.g C.o.m.p ?????

i was wandering how well the following system will play the latest game like

battlefield 2
call of duty 2
counter strike source
world of warcraft


athlon 64 x2 3800
1 gig of corsairs valuselect ram
asus a8n-e nvidia nforce motherboard
and a evga 6600gt

they will run... just not maxed out. the only thing holding it down is the 6600GT. with an upgrade to a 7800,, that pc will max out any current game

forget about the x2 3800 and get amd 3200-3500. invest the rest in the 7800 gt. In video games the video card does all the work. you wont get any more fps when using a amd 3800 x2 or a 3200 in video game. some ppl are gooan say that the x2 is more future proof i guess they forget that in 2-3 years from now there is goona be a much more powerful dual core processor at the same price as today. save ur money get a better video card and 2gig of ram.

yea drop the 6600gt and the amd 3800, get an amd 3200 for about 160 and a 7800gt for about 280 (or 6800gs for 190) if u choose the 6800 gs then u have more money for another gig of ram, better load times but a little less fps
