even has the balls to charge $25 for shipping when it's going through USPS.......shipping that thing would be like $5 for anywhere in the continental US probably

As always, FX series are gimmicks with their overpriced unlocked multiplier being the only selling point to them

I guess there is some Japanese website that is called www.pcpop.com
This is were that ebay offer is from. So i'm guessing because they are an etailer, they are able to preorder CPU's directly from AMD.

But, since there is no MSRP available yet and rumors are that the release will be possibly next week, why the heck would anyone PAY $1525 + $25 Shipping for a CPU that no one even knows what will cost at retail?

Even if i was interested in an FX-60 - I certainly would wait a few months after it's release. Wait for others to spend a buttload of money on it and see how it is. Then wait until the price adjusts.
