I will agree it is a bad setup if you plan on running 2 vid cards plus a 3rd physics card. the last pci-e slot is worthless for just about any card.

I am sorry your buddy had trouble with it as mine has been one of the best boards I have owned.

If you want to yuck at a board, yuck at the Intel 1366 board. It's terrible.

Gigabyte isn't the end all and be all of motherboards, and just because it's Gigabyte doesn't mean it's not going to have problems or die a few months down the road. Circumstances are circumstances.

ASUS makes great boards, and one guy having a problem with his isn't very definitive if you ask me.
