if you want an all around good board then this is for you,

Newegg.com - GIGABYTE GA-EX58-UD5 LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard - Intel Motherboards
The Asus is a good stable board and it has good overclocking. Personally I perfer the EVGA boards, but there not for everyone.

I don't like Gigabyte's RMA policy, I have a friends mobo sitting right here and here is what he has to deal with.

RMA

^ but that's the beauty, they never expect you to return it. because it will never die

and the original P6T is pretty good. the P6T V2 that's the dumbed down one.

Avoid that PSU, not only is it on our avoid list but I have one and can vouch for the fact that it is not very good.

kmote, are you talking about the OCZ 700w PSU? If so, I thought that OCZ made quality parts.

Haha I see you have the same supply. Yes most of the time OCZ is good but in the case of the gamexstream 700W something went wrong.

Well fiddlesticks, so far I have not had any problems yet, knock on wood. If my PSU blows up tomorrow, I am going to blame you, kmote

Where does this opinion come from? Have you used this board? Why is it stupid?

By saying dumbed down I would assume you are referring to dropping onboard sas on the V2. How many sas drives do you own or plan to run in the future?

Anyways for an i7 the Asus, Evga and Biostar are all great boards.
