thanks, i couldnt find it tho but ill keep looking, any way ill revise the list of parts after i scrap together more money since i think im just gonna end up buying a good gaming monitor since my tv would take insane amounts money for graphics cards to get decent fps in games

no it wouldnt. your tv is probably maxing out at 1280x720 res. (if it is a 720P tv) so that is a lot less res than a 24in monitor. It isnt about size, it is resolution

yeah exactly, even if it was 1080p (1900x1080) my 24" still has higher resolutions (1920x1200). your tv would run fine no matter what tv you had with an 8800gt or 8800gts. sometimes i wish i had a g92 gts or gtx though WiC/Crysis sigh...

yea.. but my tv has 7ms response time... and the contrast is not as high as i would like for gaming.. plus i would have to get a wireless mouse and keyboard for it which suck for gaming any way

ehh response time doesn't mean much anymore, pretty much every monitor has 8ms or less.a g7 and a wireless keyboard would be suffice i would say. but i would want to be sitting at a desk with a lazyboy anyway.
