Free RAM? o.O

It's usually best to avoid mixing RAM like that, but try it out, your computer won't blow up

Well I can't try it out yet, because I don't have my CPU here yet xD. I'm ordering that next week/start building next week.

haha, or order half of the ram you want, then tell newegg they shipped you the wrong one and send back the free one and get them to mail you the other half.

I think I'm going to keep 'em, and then try 'em out with the G.Skill set. One other question, though...Am I able to change the voltages of each channel independantly, or are both channels going to work under the same voltage?

If you can change those voltages for the two different channels that would be awesome. Just hope it overclocks well, I don't remember which ram u got and im too lazy to check.

Well yeah RAM can be bothersome, switch the sticks, try one leave the other out. A spare set could be handy.
