Default forced early upgrade

hello all,

I was planning to upgrade eventually when new motherboards came out for the core2duo, but recent events such as my graphics card or mobo failing has forced my hand.

So i decided to just build a system, here is what I got:

core 2 duo E6600
Gigabyte DS3 motherboard
2 gig Geil RAM pc6400

Now the only thing I would like to know is if anyone has had any issues with Geil ram on this mobo as its got many issues with OCZ and ram on certain timings.
