Default flight simulator x gfx card

how much do you think i would have to spend to be able to run fsx on highish settings + PSU

ps. do you thing i will need an extra gig of RAM

1GB should be fine, though you might see an improvement with 2GB

PSU - depends on the video card you get
I'd say you should get at least a 7600 GT or something. that doesn't use much power.
though if you get a 7950 GX2 or something, then you're going to need a good PSU

sure it will. one of my friends has a 7600 GT, and it'll run Doom 3 and HL2 on max

flight sim X is a hog though my 6800GT had to run with many things turned off Id say go for a 7900GS or 7900GT.

7600 GT > 6800 GT
though yes a 7900 GT would be an improvement. especially if you voltmod it like I did.

Flight Simulator X will destroy almost any pc out there unless your spending big bucks on a pc.

I've actually seen that game eat computers alive, no mercy. Yeah flight sims are graphics hogs.

2Gibs of memory and the fastest CPU you can afford (ie Conroe that is a good clocker.)

I will be confident that my 7800gt will run it on highest settings the demo DEMO didn't BSOD for me.
