How well will the first rig you gave me do? Will it run high settings on any game and still maintain decent fps and such?

It will play any game, out there right now, with maxed settings. It can play future games, pretty well too.

Awesome, thanks for the help. I just thought of another question though. If all I'm doing is gaming, will the onboard sound card be enough? I can always upgrade that later too.

A sound card isn't necessary, because onboard these days, are pretty decent. Also if you aren't picky about sound, it's unnecessary. But like you said, you can always get that later on, in the future.

i have on-board sound, never had a problem with it, you may want to upgrade if you're into HD sound

EDIT: most motherboards these days have HD audio.

Sorry I thought of another question. I've seen some things on network cards. What do these do? Will they do everything my Linksys Wireless adapter will do?
